First DevLog Post!
Hey Hey Hey!
I had some fun lately playing Tomb of the Mask and I decided to make my own one, but Sci-fi style for mobile!
That's the very beginning of my project and sometimes it gets hard to continue, so far I implemented most of the gameplay and now I'm implementing the UI
I have already most of it but waitinig to get more sprites in order to continue :) It seems I havea long road ahead but with patience I will finish this game
The mechanics are very simple, you just swipe left, right, up, down and you slide across the cells in order to collect points and time fluid , which allow you to move across the time dimensions. This is the very first concept idea (and yes, I kind of recreated the Tomb of The Mask level in honor of it).
There will be several travelers (characters) and you can choose from which one to play, allowing you extra bonus.
Also you can have different equipment which give you an extra boost!
In the mechanics I added rotating blocks, bullets to avoid, block that you can pass by only once, other blocks that you can pass only from one direction.
I am open to new IDEAS and I will be happy to implement them in my gameplay :)
I am planning to add some FX and to find the right soundtrack for it!
At the end of every level you will have your time and your best time for each level and once you finish all the levels you will get your total completition time, if I will be able I will probably add a Scoreboard with the best players :)
It's a long journey but I hope to find motivation from people that like this kind of games! :)
